What’s new?

Three Little Birds with Young People’s Theatre of Chicago

I’m in a TYA musical, full of music from the one and only Bob Marley! Bring your little ones over to the Greenhouse Theatre Center February 8th - March 2nd.

Join us this winter in sunny Jamaica for a joyous musical about a boy named Ziggy (the name of Bob Marley’s son) who fears tropical storms, the ocean, spiders, and especially the sneaky “duppy” spirits of Caribbean folklore. But a mischievous companion and three sprightly feathered friends join Ziggy for a mountain-traversing adventure that will make clear that with a little bravery, “every little thing is gonna be alright!”

I’m back in the basement of the Chopin this Fall! It is an immense honor to jump into a dream role - I’ll be playing The Baker’s Wife. I’m incredibly excited to be reunited with some dear collaborators.

Escape into a fantastical fairytale adventure where wishes come true, but not always for free. A trove of storybook characters' paths intertwine as they chase their deepest desires through an enchanted forest. However, once they receive their happily ever after, the unintended consequences of granted wishes unravel their worlds.

Definition Theatre: Amplify Series Four Finalist

Some news on the playwright front - I was one of 8 finalists for this new play commission program! An excerpt of each of our plays was featured in the 2024 Amplify New Play Festival at the Logan Center.

Shakes in the City: Twelfth Night with Chicago Shakespeare Theater

I understudied half the cast of this joyful, Caribbean-inspired, touring production directed by Tyrone Phillips. We traveled throughout Chicago until July 23rd - August 18th. I got to go on for Viola, Maria, and Feste, multiple times.

For more information on the show, click here!

I understudied Lisa’s Mom and The Night Guard in this delightful TYA production.

This summer, embark on a heartwarming adventure with Corduroy! The beloved bear’s button has gone missing, and he can’t go home with kindhearted Lisa without it. Audiences will follow Corduroy’s rollicking and delightfully destructive journey through the department store as he searches high and low—up escalators, and to the top of a teetering store display.

Pro-Am at First Floor

I assistant directed the World Premiere of Pro-Am by Brynne Frauenhoffer at First Floor Theatre! It was an honor to dip my toes into directing for the first time and support this outstanding production.

Most careers don’t last longer than three months in Miami’s professional-amateur porn scene. But that’s about to change when rising star Chloe Kendall meets the driven trans performer Nastasia. The girls are doing it for themselves now, and for the first time, people won’t just be watching them – they’ll be paying attention.

New Representation!

I am now represented by Grossman & Jack Talent! So excited to work with these folks.

American Psycho the Musical at Kokandy Productions

I was in the Chicago premiere of this chilling bloodbath of a musical, playing Patrick Bateman’s secretary, Jean! I’ve always wanted to work with Kokandy and perform in the basement of the Chopin, I’m so looking forward. Check out the cast announcement here.

American Psycho is a ruthless and daring musical from Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, The Picture of Dorian Gray). Based on the electrifying novel by Bret Easton Ellis, the musical tells the story of Patrick Bateman, a young and handsome Wall Street banker with impeccable taste and unquenchable desires. Patrick and his elite group of friends spend their days in chic restaurants, exclusive clubs and designer labels. But at night, Patrick takes part in a darker indulgence, and his mask of sanity is starting to slip…

A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Oak Park Festival Theatre

You can’t keep me away from outdoor Shakespeare! I played Titania out in Austin Gardens this past summer, with an absolutely sensational cast and production team.

Love. Desire. Transformation.

William Shakespeare’s timeless fantasy follows three separate but intertwining stories–the Lovers, the Mechanicals, and the Fairies–over the course of a single night. As each thread mingles with the next, the forest becomes an enchanted playground in which affections are misdirected and the limits of love are tested before order is ultimately restored. Experience this joyful production as it was truly meant to be performed…outdoors under the canopy of Oak Park’s beautiful Austin Gardens.

I had the great honor of portraying Leading Player in Pippin at Music Theater Works! This was a total dream role. Click here to see the cast and creative team.

The unforgettable score of Pippin has shown multiple generations how to forge their own path in the world. Imaginatively presented through multiple revivals of a young person's journey to self, join Music Theater Works' staging among the toys and games that defined childhood. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival with some of the most infectiously memorable music from Broadway by four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and musical theater giant Stephen Schwartz.

World Premiere of Think Fast, Jordan Chase! at Filament Theatre

After two years of workshops and development, my new play had a successful run at Filament Theatre in Spring 2023. Click here for the BroadwayWorld announcement.

We had an amazing cast, crew, & design team - it was incredibly excited to see this play fully realized!

Think Fast, Jordan Chase! travels through time and space. We follow Jordan as she navigates the difficulties of making a decision that may jeopardize her relationship with her best friend, Mahari, and a decision that may harm the new student, Ryan. By transporting Jordan to outer space or a pirate-filled island or a fantasy land, the mystical Grandma Nicky sets Jordan on a journey to get to the root of the issue between Mahari and Ryan. Jordan will rely on the audience to help her choose the right path.

Jeff Nomination: Performer in a Principal Role - Musical

I got nominated for a Jeff award for the first time ever! My performance as Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress at Theo Ubique granted me this opportunity. A BUNCH of other lovely artists on the team are nominated as well. What an honor!

Measure for Measure at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre

I understudied Mistress Overdone and was the secondary cover for Pompey & Juliet over at the Pier!

“Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall.” Celebrated director Henry Godinez brings Shakespeare’s searing play to vivid life amidst the glamour, music, and sensuality of 1950s Cuba, just before Fidel Castro seizes power. Havana is the carefree playground of the rich, the famous—and the corrupt—while a revolution brews. As the city sinks into moral disrepair, the Duke hands power to Angelo, who zealously enforces an archaic statute of chastity. When Isabel comes to plead for mercy for her condemned brother Claudio, the depths of raw power’s depravity are shockingly revealed.

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks: 50th Anniversary Tour

Last summer I toured with the illustrious Montana Shakes! I had the honor of playing Feste in Twelfth Night and The Fool in King Lear.

Click here for more info on our lovely cast, and for information about where we traveled to!

Mattress is a Hit!

Not only was Once Upon a Mattress at Theo Ubique Jeff Recommended…our zany, queer, fabulous production received rave reviews!

Click here to see some of our reviews compiled on Theatre in Chicago. I’m so proud of our cast and crew!

Once Upon a Mattress with Theo Ubique

I played Princess Winnifred in this delightful new rendition of a musical theatre comedy classic.

In this offbeat version of Andersen's fairy tale, the domineering Queen Aggravain has created impossible tests of any princess who might seek to marry her son, Prince Dauntless. This is a problem for the people of the kingdom, as the Queen has decreed no one shall marry until Prince Dauntless is wed. It's a particular problem for the leading knight of the realm, Sir Harry, who discovers that his girlfriend, Lady Larken, is pregnant. When Winnifred the Woebegone arrives, this brash and unrefined princess from the marshlands becomes the last best hope of the Kingdom to end Queen Aggravain's virtual ban on marriage.

Check out the official Broadway World announcement here!

Represented by 10 Talent

I got an agent! I am proud to announce that I am officially on the roster at 10 Talent. I am thrilled to embark on this new partnership, and to dive deeper into the world of TV/Film.

Twelfth Night with Midsommer Flight

Last winter I played Malvolio in Midsommer Flight’s annual production of Twelfth Night at the Lincoln Park Conservatory! Last year’s version was an immersive experience.

McCloskey's staging will prove an exhilarating and illuminating way to enjoy the multiple plots of Shakespeare's comedy. She says "So much of TWELFTH NIGHT'S humor comes from the wild swings from silly to serious. By choosing which characters to follow, audiences can enjoy the wide range of experiences as the characters would live them, meaning they will have only the perspectives of the characters they are following. Plots, secrets, and surprises will run amok - until the final scene when all is revealed and resolved.

Songs for Nobodies with Northlight Theatre

I had the great honor of understudying Bethany Thomas in her one-woman show.

This one-woman tour-de-force celebrates the iconic work of Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf and Maria Callas. Share in the unexpected encounters between these legendary divas and the ordinary women whose lives were changed by their brush with fame. Featuring such favorites as “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “Crazy,” and “Ain’t Nobody’s Business If I Do,” Songs for Nobodies illuminates the power of song to share a story, heal a heartbreak, and inspire a dream.
